Highlights: Very mild climb to Pipeline, Creek, Aspen Grove
A long walk up Hardscrabble Road defines the first half of this trail. The climb is very gradual, but long, and offers views of the New Yorks as you climb higher. Once on Pipeline the trail is all downhill until the finish. Pipeline itself offers a pleasant walk through an aspen grove. Two creek crossings and interspersed rocky sections keep this stretch interesting. From the intersection with Third Gulch to the end is a gradual double track descent to the parking area.
