Off Highway Vehicles (OHVs)

The Town of Eagle, along with the surrounding area, has motorized access for 4x4s and ATV/UTVs, as well as some singletrack. These riding areas fall under three jurisdictions: Town of Eagle, Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and the National Forest Service. In order to operate an OHV in the State of Colorado, you must register your vehicle and display the registration sticker.

To register your vehicle, you may purchase the sticker in town at the Nearly Everything Store or Boyz Toyz & Sonz.  Click here to find more information or renew your previous year’s registration.

The Town of Eagle has motor vehicle access to the BLM land south of town. You may park vehicles and trailers at the Arroyo Drive Trailhead access. Click here for more info on this access.

The motorized BLM land falls under the Colorado River Valley Field Office jurisdiction. For more info about opportunities on BLM land, please visit the BLM Off Highway page.

The National Forest system routes fall under the Eagle/Holy Cross Ranger district. You can find more information on  the White River Recreation page of the Forest Service website.
