Trail Length: 8.84 miles
Elevation Gain: 1900 ft.
Elevation Loss: 2044 ft.
Trail time: 2:45
Highlights: Technical Downhill on World’s Greatest
This ride begins with a twisty single track on Abrams Ridge. After descending into Abrams Gulch the trail becomes double track that climbs slowly following Abrams Creek. After crossing Abrams Creek, which may be deep depending on the season, the trail climbs sharply for a short stretch in order to connect to FSR 8384. At this point the trail is a well established road that offers distant views to the north. The stretch between mile markers 3 and 7 offer the most scenic qualities. The descent on World’s Greatest is very technically challenging. Winding single track, rocks, and loose conditions all require that you ride within your ability and stay in control. Elmers offers some faster downhill on a more solid single track. School House Rock offers that last bit of climb up and over to Horton Street where the ride concludes at the cul-de-sac.
