Nolan Lake

Nolan Lake is a true high alpine experience at an elevation of 9,920 feet.  In the heart of the Holy Cross Wilderness, the lake is accented beautifully against the sharply-pointed granite peaks of Craig Peak and New York Mountain.  At the south end of the lake, on the top of a ridge of rocks there is a nice view of the town of Fulford in the foreground, with the snowcapped Gore Range beyond.  A perfect getaway and much more then just a fishing expedition!  For detailed information on the hike in to Nolan Lake, see the Nolan Lake hiking page.
