On Saturday, August 27th, Red Ribbon Project will host our annual fundraiser, The Eagle Music
Festival. Come to Boneyard in Eagle, from 4-10 PM and help us raise funds to support our work
in local schools to promote conflict resolution and stress management to decrease risky behavior
leading to overall healthy choices. We believe that building healthy, resilient kids today builds a strong
community for tomorrow. So please come and dance, drink, dine and bid on great silent auction items
including a Vail Resorts Epic ski pass, Golden Bear jewelry, and a Street Swell long board. Local bands
include Rewind, First Chair, The Platonics, The Burnsville Band, Custom 20, Artist Unknown and The
Martinellis playing everything from Rock & Roll to Blues from the 70’s through today.

The event kicks off the beginning of our Youth Education programs in local schools. Our evidence
based programs address substance abuse prevention, healthy relationship building, coping with
adversities and improving communication. These programs work because we promote healthy
alternatives to risky behavior by teaching resistive skills, developing greater self-confidence, enabling
students to effectively cope with anxiety, increasing knowledge of consequences, and enhancing
cognitive and behavioral competency to reduce and prevent health risk behaviors. We also offer free
HIV testing 3-4 times a year for the community. Our goal is to make sure everyone in our community
has the resources to thrive and ultimately make our community stronger for everyone.
