Town of Eagle wins 2013 Outstanding Partner Award

The Town of Eagle was recently awarded the 2013 Outstanding Partner Award from the Colorado High School Cycling League for our efforts on the 2013 State Championships, held October 16-18, 2013.

The town negotiated an agreement with Haymeadow developer Ric Newman to build a new mountain bike trail on his private property to host the event. The town then approved a $60,000 line item and hired Momentum Trail Concepts to construct the trail according to the Cycling League’s specifications.

Town of Eagle staff, local businesses and the entire Vail Valley cycling community came together to roll out the red carpet for the nearly 500 racers and their families, staff, volunteers and fans who enjoyed a spectacular weekend in Eagle, CO.
