Solar Open House on Tuesday, 6.19
Active Energies, a Minturn-based energy consulting and renewable energy company, will host a Solar Open House on Tuesday, 6/19 from 5:30-7:30pm at 366 Bluffs Drive in Eagle. The open house will feature a local installation of photovoltaic and solar thermal systems, which were recently installed on the home to offset all of the home’s electric usage and the majority of domestic hot water usage.
This casual event will allow the public to take a close look at the equipment and systems and ask Active Energies’ solar experts about the systems, typical costs, feasibility, and payback. “Solar energy is much more affordable than most people realize, so we want to give members of the public a chance to come take a look for themselves. Many homeowners may not even realize that they have the ability to add solar energy to their homes for much less money than they would think,” said Jason Weingast, the Vice President of Active Energies. Weingast added, “Compared to other upgrades for your home, solar is one of the only home improvements that actually pays for itself.”
Active Energies solar staff will also be available to schedule complimentary site assessments and proposals. The event also will include free BBQ.
