Respect Wildlife

While outside recreating, please be respectful of local wildlife. Please observe wildlife you may encounter on the trail from a distance, but do not approach or disturb wildlife. The general rule of thumb is to stay at least 50 yards (half a football field) away from wildlife.

Seasonal closure dates for Town of Eagle Open Space and Trails are December 1 – April 15. During the closure period, trails and open space properties are closed to all human activity. Closure violations are subject to a maximum fine of $2,650.

Trail closures are in place to protect an important winter range for big game animals. For more information about open spaces and trails, please visit the Town of Eagle website.
