From October to March, Mountain Recreation offers public skating, learn to skate classes, and adult & youth hockey programs. Alternatively, during the summer this arena is used for roller derby.
The Eagle Pool & Ice Rink is one of three Mountain Recreation facilities in Eagle County. Founded in 1980, Mountain Rec boasts year-round activities starting with baby swim & yoga classes, to youth sports leagues and summer camps, teenager backpacking trips, and adult fitness classes & drop in sports.
Adjacent to the ice rink are tennis courts, a two-acre BMX track, and access to Eagle’s mountain biking trail system. During the summer months, the facility shifts and offers a family friendly outdoor pool.
