What is the Community Table?
Town of Eagle’s Community Table is an evolution of our mission to connect through celebration of our neighbors. The connections formed around our community transcend the many differences that occupy us every day… from backgrounds to beliefs, to how and what we hunger. Hunger encompasses the need we all feel for connection.
Sunday, August 30 | 4pm – 7pm | Location: Capitol Street between Founders Ave. and Sylvan Lake Rd.
The town provides tables & chairs. Eight people per table, with one community member signing up as the “host”. Each host will coordinate the potluck for their table. Table reservations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. This is a free event. Rain or Shine.
Schedule:
4pm: Check-in – Host must check-in PRIOR to selecting a table. We are not assigning tables.
5pm: Dinner Bell – Enjoy time with your neighbors.
5pm-7pm: Live Music – Sponsored by Slifer, Smith and Frampton
7pm: End
What the Town will provide:
- Table and chairs for groups of 8 people
- Compost bins for food waste
What you need to bring:
- Bring your 8 people, all ages. Leave the fury friends at home.
- Food & Beverage for your table (potluck style)
- TABLE DECORATIONS! Prizes will be awarded for Most Spirited & Most Creative.
- Bring reusable plates, cups, and silverware – just pack it up with your table décor at the end of the event!
- Bring compostable plates, cups, and silverware. Everything can go in one bin at the end of the night.
