Nestled against a mountain backdrop, the campground at Sylvan Lake State Park is one of the most scenic spots in Colorado. It’s conveniently located approximately 10 miles southest of Eagle. The park is open year-round. The beautiful 42 acre lake is stocked with trout and very popular with anglers. The park features 44 campsites – RV Accessible, 9 cabins and 3 yurts. Hiking, picnic sites and hand propelled or electric motor boating are all popular activities. The Sneve Gulch hike leaves from this area.

Directions from I-70: Exit Interstate 70 at exit 147 and head south onEby Creek Road. Take first exit at roundabout and shortly after turn left ontoCapitol Street. At stop sign turn left ontoBrush Creek Road. Continue onBrush Creek Roaduntil road forks. Stay right through intersection and continue until reaching SylvanLake.
